SWCA Div. 1 1st XI View Scorecard back Pontardawe v Llangennech Owing to a damp square, the umpires called for an early tea at 3.00 p.m. and a start was made in a 34 over game at 3.30 p.m. A further stoppage reduced the match to 33 overs and Pontardawe had progressed to 40 for 2 wickets after 16 overs when a heavy shower drove the players from the field and the match was abandoned at 4.32 p.m. Rhodri Davies was 19 not out and Oli Furneaux 13 not out. For Llangennech, Rhodri Lewis took the 2 wickets to fall for 26 runs off 8 overs. So it was 5 points apiece and both clubs still look for their first win of the season as the only winner was the weather in what is proving to be a frustrating season thus far.
